A fantastic new role supporting this really lovely family from their home in London supporting the wife of the principal who is the founder of a leading investment firm. You will need to have experience as a Private PA as it is essential you have proven experience managing global properties and household staff in each property. The family own several properties globally including the USA & France so lots of coordinating and payrolling the various teams..
You will be London based and need to have a clean driving license (automatic) to drive the house car on occasion. The family travel for around 10 weeks of the year so you will book travel (private and commercial) and liaise with the staff at each overseas property prior to the arrival of the family. You will have ownership of the personal diary across all their private commitments (school, medical appointments, events and gift purchases etc) and be involved in the day to day running of the London property.
The wife of the principal is involved in supporting a number of charitable and philanthropic interests so you will support her ensuring that her personal and charitable commitments are aligned. This is a really immersive role for a Private PA with probably 3-5 years private household experience who has a solid track record supporting a private family across their private life and their properties and staff. The family are really friendly and value their Private PA as very much part of the family. There is huge scope to grow in the role and take on more responsibility so the family see this role as a really long term opportunity for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule personal calendar appointments
- Manage all incoming and outgoing communications with all household and domestic staff
- Oversee the families properties across Europe, USA and Asia and all household staff
- Coordinate renovation projects and any building works or repairs to properties
- Schedule personal travel (private jets and commercial)
- Using Excel to track household expenses across the different properties and allocating correctly.
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years as a Private PA based in a family home (essential)
- Excellent Excel (for expenses)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Outgoing and confident attitude and superb organisational skills
- Ability to travel (very occasional and for very short periods)
- Clean driving license
- French (is a bonus but not essential)
Salary
To £55,000 with bonus, healthcare, pension and lots of other benefits.
