Housing Management Lawyer – Cardiff

Chadwick Nott are excited to be assisting this Top 100 law firm in their recruitment for an Associate or Senior Associate to bolster their thriving Housing Management team.

This role can be based in either Cardiff or Bristol and you can expect to work on a hybrid basis, requiring you to attend the office just once a week.

This Legal 500 and Chambers rated Housing Management team has been one of the fastest-growing teams within the firm over the past decade, acting for Registered Providers and Local Authorities.

The successful candidate will be advising and representing registered providers of social housing and local authorities on a variety of housing management issues, including:

  • Litigation and advisory work
  • Possession proceedings involving anti-social behaviour, sub-letting, failed succession, and trespassing
  • Tenancy management advice on income, relationship breakdown, succession, assignment, and mental health
  • Public law and Equality Act matters
  • Injunction proceedings involving tenants, shared owners, leaseholders, and non-tenants
  • Drafting and reviewing policies, procedures, and tenancy agreements

To be considered you will have at least 3 PQE with demonstrated experience in a Housing Management team and the ability to manage a busy diverse caseload.
