We are working with a boutique law firm based in the heart of London, specialising in commercial property and real estate law. Our client is known for providing a bespoke, client-centered service and for tackling complex transactions with a meticulous approach. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a talented Commercial Property Paralegal to join their dynamic and very busy team.

As a Commercial Property Paralegal, you will support their solicitors in handling a broad range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and property development. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a collaborative, high-performing team in a firm that values professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation and review of documents, including leases, agreements, and licenses.
  • Conducting due diligence, such as title reviews and searches, and drafting reports for clients.
  • Managing post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
  • Assisting with transaction management, including keeping clients and solicitors updated on progress.
  • Preparing and submitting various forms and filings.
  • Liaising with clients, third parties, and other professionals to ensure smooth transaction processes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in a commercial property or real estate role, ideally within a law firm environment.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property transactions and conveyancing processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and experience with legal technology platforms is a plus.
  • A proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
