Hours and Days: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks)
Job Profile: G7 Scale point: 12 £23,411 per annum pro rata (FTE £26,421) rising to SCP 14 £24,217 per annum pro rata (FTE £27,334) following a successful 6 month probation period.
The Attendance Officer’s role is to ensure school systems for recording and monitoring pupil attendance work effectively, reporting for whole school and sub groups, internally and externally. To liaise regularly with parent/carers on attendance issues and to encourage and actively promote good attendance via the School’s inclusion linked reward schemes.
We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines. Experience in a school environment is preferred, but we welcome those looking for a new challenge. An induction process with training will be provided.
