Are you a friendly and team orientated Cleaner who relates well to others and takes pride in their work?

We have a great opportunity for a part time Cleaner to join our team based in our friendly care home in Taunton, Somerset on a permanent basis, working 10 hours per week . This will include some weekend work.

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of £11.50 per hour (prorated salary of £5,996 per annum) as well as other great BENEFITS :

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure the house is in good repair, clean and homely and residents are well accommodated.
  • Checking empty bedrooms on a weekly basis
  • Keep linen and airing cupboards well stocked and tidy
  • Checking bathrooms are kept clean and hygienic daily
  • Seeking to promote high standards to comply with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Take part in team meetings and liaising with other members of staff, bringing to their attention any problems discovered.

About The House of St Martin

House of St Martin is a Registered care home for men with multiple needs, including substance misuse, mental health needs or a learning disability. It is located three miles from Taunton and set in six acres of beautiful countryside. The home is registered to support 31 men, offering full-board catering. We provide a safe calm environment from which men can plan their next steps and grow in independence.
