Job Title: Product Specialist – Moist Feeds, 12-Month FTC
Location: Remote – Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire OR Peterborough, Cambs, UK (Predominantly a home-based role, with on average quarterly meetings in the office)

At AB Agri, we take pride in being at the forefront of innovation in the agricultural sector. As a specialist provider of high-quality ruminant feed and nutritional solutions, we are seeking a motivated and proactive Product Specialist to join our friendly and knowledgeable team.
This is a key role within the Moist Feed Team, focused on the day-to-day product management of Trafford gold and acting as the main contact between KW and all ruminant accounts within the retail segment. This role is varied and highly commercial, managing contracts, promoting sales, supporting retention, and driving new business, all of which are crucial to achieving our rationing and retail business goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain all sites to meet supplier standards, fostering strong relationships and optimizing moist feed sales.
- Develop and manage UK direct-to-farm customer accounts in retail, with a focus on growth and retention.
- Collaborate with the Moist team to exceed budget targets, manage contracts, set profitable pricing, and drive new business.
- Share market insights with customers to seize growth opportunities.
- Ensure integrity in sales and purchase contracts for customer and supplier needs.
- Follow business processes, keep AX and CRM systems updated for effective customer targeting, and comply with trading controls.

- Sales and Agriculture Experience: Proven B2C sales experience, ideally within agriculture, animal feed, or raw materials.
- Relationship-Building Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Product Management Background: Experience in product management or a similar role is beneficial.
- Commercial Awareness and Analytical Skills: Familiarity with target-driven environments, with the ability to interpret market data and anticipate trends.
- Industry Knowledge: An understanding of the fundamental drivers of the UK agriculture industry.
- Collaborative and Organized: A team-oriented approach with excellent organizational skills.
