Data & Reporting Analyst – FTC 6 months

Job Summary

The Data & Reporting Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making within our UK & ROI sales business. This individual will be responsible for assessing, cleansing, and consolidating our existing data sources to create comprehensive, actionable reports and dashboards. By leveraging their expertise in SQL, BI software (particularly Power BI), and SAP, the Analyst will provide valuable insights to senior leadership to optimize performance and inform strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Assessment and Consolidation:

Conduct a thorough evaluation of existing data sources, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and quality issues.

Develop strategies to cleanse, standardize, and consolidate data from various sources (e.g., CRM, ERP, sales data, market data).

Design and implement robust data governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Reporting and Analytics:

Create and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor sales performance.

Develop advanced analytical models to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the UK & ROI market.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis.

Data Integration and Modelling:

Integrate data from multiple sources to create a unified data warehouse or data mart.

Develop data models and visualizations that effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.

Change Management and Product Management:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven initiatives and promote a data-centric culture.

Manage the implementation of new data tools and processes, ensuring successful adoption and user acceptance.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.

Proven expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Excel.

Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts.

Experience working with SAP systems (preferred).

Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and data visualization best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in change management or product management (advantageous).

Additional Skills (Desired)

Experience with Python or R programming languages.

Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Knowledge of dental industry trends and dynamics.
