La Fosse is happy to announce that a longstanding client has engaged with us Exclusively to aid them in their search for a Head of Delivery on a contract basis.
We’re looking for a Head of Delivery to come in and take the reigns of an ongoing Data Transformation Programme and enhance the overall delivery capability of the Data Function.
Office Expectations: Oxfordshire 3 days a week
Day Rate: £650 – £680 Outside IR35
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the delivery of data initiatives, ensuring the flow of work across 3-5 (Soon to grow to 7) squads.
- Drive and coordinate the overall delivery plan within the data function.
- Ensure effective delivery within data teams, while building and scaling agile practices/ways of working.
- Address and unblock delivery challenges, providing technical leadership without needing to be hands-on.
- Manage Delivery and Data Governance and ensure compliance as the programme expands.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and build relationships to execute against deliverables effectively
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 – 8 years' experience Lead Delivery within a Data Function or Programme
- Proven track record leading large-scale data transformation programmes.
- A strong understanding of Agile ways of working and using these to enhance delivery capability within Data Delivery Squads.
- Strong Delivery Management
- Good understanding of Data components, governance, architecture etc…Need to understand how it all fits together, what impact requests from stakeholders/architectural decisions will have on the team, and their ability to deliver against these.)
- Strong Stakeholder Management, up and outwards
- Strong Vendor Management Capability
- Strong background in data and modern cloud architectures (Azure preferred).
- Experience implementing and scaling Agile practices, in a data function.
- Previous responsibility for Delivery and Data Governance.
