Our client, a leading M&E contractor headquartered in Staffordshire, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with strong HVAC knowledge to manage high-value, multi-million-pound projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional based in the Liverpool area who brings a proven track record in commercial, industrial, and retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

* Manage all aspects of project lifecycle, from initial design to handover, with a focus on HVAC systems.

* Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain effective communication and project alignment.

* Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.

* Oversee procurement processes, including materials and equipment, to maintain project schedules and quality.

* Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

* Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting high standards of work and professionalism.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, ideally managing projects worth £1 million+ in commercial, industrial, and retail sectors.

* In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and related mechanical services.

* Strong project management skills, with a keen ability to manage time, budget, and scope effectively.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills.

* Relevant industry qualifications and certifications, such as SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS (Gold or Black card preferred), and an HND/HNC or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Qualifications & Certifications:

* SMSTS or SSSTS (Site Management or Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)

* CSCS Card (Gold or Black Card preferred)

* HND/HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline

* HVAC qualifications (desirable but not essential if experience is strong)
