The Role
This analyst will play a critical role in the delivery of digital change projects, and as part of the firm’s newly established Digital Change team, they will play a major role in delivering the firm’s Digital Ambition.
The portfolio of projects will primarily comprise activities within the firm’s Digital Transformation programme, Olympus. The projects and analyst roles to be undertaken will likely be diverse, but will require the analyst to combine a proactive, solution focused mindset, an understanding of legal processes and associated technologies and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business partnering and solution design
Engage in discussions with the business, or the wider project team to fully understand the business challenges to be addressed. Use your understanding of technology and legal process to propose potential solutions to these challenges and contribute these ideas to the project team.
Collaboration in the team
Work in close collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams, likely including third parties. Play a key role in supporting SMEs to understand the requirements of them and support them to provide inputs in a way that meets the needs of the project.
High quality communications and outputs
Play a key role in synthesising information and presenting this in a way that helps the team or wider groups of stakeholders understand key messages regarding the project.
Proactive problem solving
As part of a small team, owning a large portfolio of activity you will need to work independently, and proactively. You should be able to demonstrate good judgement regarding identifying and escalating risks, while driving towards the agreed outcomes of the project team.
Qualifications, skills and experience
- Good understanding of legal processes and some associated technology.
- Strategic, solution focused thinker – able to balance a desire for perfection with the need to achieve progress.
- Demonstrable experience of making strong, high-quality contributions in a fast-paced team, working in a complex environment.
- Internal candidates should have a good internal network from previous projects.
