Panoramic Associates is excited to partner with a leading secondary school in Hampshire to recruit a dynamic Interim Head of Department for Art and Photography. This role begins in January and runs through Easter on a contract basis, with potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. About the Role:
As the Interim Head of Art and Photography, you’ll have the chance to lead a passionate team and inspire students’ artistic journeys. Your leadership will be key in ensuring students gain the skills and confidence to explore their talents.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and innovate the Art and Photography curriculum, creating an engaging, inclusive program that encourages creativity and artistic exploration.Lead and support a dedicated team of art and photography teachers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative, positive environment.Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that spark students’ passion for the arts, supporting their skill development.Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to align the department’s goals with the school’s wider mission, ensuring excellence in creative education.What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Proven experience in teaching Art and Photography at secondary levelA degree in Art, Photography, or a related disciplineLeadership experience, ideally within an educational context, with a vision for developing a vibrant art and photography programWhy Join Us?
