We are partnered with a well-established, high-end stonework business on the search for their new Quantity Surveyor. Currently tendering for private residential and large commercial projects – the business always leads with their values of delivering exceptional service and unrivalled expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion, working closely with the management team.
- Prepare tender documents and contracts, including bills of quantities.
- Understand all project requirements and time-scales – develop robust plans so that all resources, materials and labour are efficiently allocated to meet all objectives.
- Support the finance team and form project budgets and estimates. Estimate costs for materials, labour and time for tenders. Continually review financial performance and ensure projects are completed within time, & budget without compromising on quality.
- Ensure that the workshop team are briefed on all project details, technical specs and design requirements. Support the teams in meeting deadlines and exceptional standards of quality.
- Be an inspirational leader to the project team – build positive working relationships, coach, mentor and train. Delegate effectively and motivate the team, ensuring they have the tools for success.
- Identify and mitigate risk – implement contingency plans and address unforeseen issues as they arise. Always ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Become a trusted advisor to the client, maintain communication throughout the project, deliver regular updates and gain feedback. Negotiate schedules and contracts with both customers and suppliers.
- Be an advocate and passionate leader for the quality of product and craftsmanship, whilst adhering to industry regulations.
- Streamline processes and procedures to work more efficiently.
To Be Successful:
- Experience working in the stone manufacturing industry a huge bonus, or related fields.
- Knowledge and understanding of delivering project documentation, from contracts, change orders, progress reports and any other relevant records.
- RICS accredited preferred.
- Must be able to issue notices, valuations and similar contract management reports, accurately and within deadlines.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in related industry.
- Natural problem solver who can arrive with solutions.
- Competent in PM software for scheduling, budgeting and reporting.
- A genuine team player.
- Excellent diplomatic communication skills across all colleagues and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will need to be comfortable travelling to sites across London.
