Quest Search and Selection are partnering with this fast-growing, B2B online Publication. This business has grown their readership to be the no.1 news provider within their specialist division and continue to be a platform for businesses to reach decision makers.

This media business is currently looking for talented sales, Account Director – B2B Digital Media who will be focusing significantly on building contacts and developing new business relationships whilst working towards the strategy for the publication.

The roles and responsibilities of this Account Director – B2B Digital Media role:

  • Generating sales by selling a portfolio digital based campaign products such as paid content, thought leadership, banners, podcast, events, webinars, video content, display and social to name a few..!
  • This is a predominately a New Business role so real focus on lead generation, outreach and conversions.
  • Playing a key role in the retention of clients by providing a high level of customer service and ensuring maintaining contact with key clients.
  • Undertaking tools such as Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, mail merges for outreach
  • Daily contact with clients, to request information, get approvals etc.
  • Making sure targets are met consistently (sales, outreach, meetings and proposals)
  • Pitching with clients via the phone, video call and face to face meetings
  • Creating bespoke and targeted sales decks/proposals to meet the needs of your clients.
  • Work closely with content, marketing, client relations, and operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and campaigns.

Experience and skills required for this Account Director – B2B Digital Media position :

  • 3-5 years + experience operating a Sales/Business Development /Senior Account Managers or Director level.
  • Must have experience in working in B2B Media publication business
  • Must be able to attend events (predominately in London).
  • Experience in creating personal sales plans.
  • Hs experience of managing client campaigns across multiple products
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and to maximize profits and customer retention
  • Able to juggle multiple projects at a time, whilst maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Benefits of this Account Director – B2B Digital Media position :

  • Salary between £43,000 – £51,000
  • Quarterly commission structure that is uncapped (av. 30k per annum on top)
  • 1st 6 months getting commission for all deals and then very favourable targets to reach there after
