Job Description:

Step into the role of an AI Security Engineer where youll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. In this role you will develop, implement and maintain solutions that support the safeguarding of the banks systems and sensitive information.

The role will focus on key skills such as Machine Learning (ML) and AI Expertise including knowledge of LLMS, GANS, Transformers and adversarial attacks like model inversion. Understanding of GenAI-Specific Risks such as recognizing the unique vulnerabilities such as prompt injection and jailbreaking. Threat Modelling and Risk Analysis: Identifying potential attack vectors in GenAI systems. Incident Response: such as detecting adversarial attacks or misuse of generated content with GenAI and Cloud Security: securing AI workloads on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) involving encryption, secure key management, and robust access controls.

To be successful as in this role you should have experience with:● Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data processing, and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).● Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, IDSIPS, encryption).● Experience with threat modelling, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments in AI environments.● Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.● Familiarity with secure software development practices (e.g., OWASP, DevSecOps)● Experience in cloud security and securing AI workloads on platforms such as AWS or Azure.

This role is primarily based in Knutsford with additional locations in Glasgow and Northampton.

Purpose of the role

To develop, implement and maintain solutions that support the safeguarding of the banks systems and sensitive information.

Accountabilities● Provision of subject matter expertise on security systems and engineering patterns.● Development and implementation of protocols, algorithms, and software applications to protect sensitive data and systems.● Management and protection of secrets, ensuring that they are securely generated, stored, and used.● Execution of audits to monitor, identify and assess vulnerabilities in the banks infrastructuresoftware and support the response to potential security breaches.● Identification of advancements in to support the innovation and adoption of new cryptographic technologies and techniques.● Collaboration across the bank, including developers and security teams, to ensure that cryptographic solutions align with business objectives, security policies and regulatory requirements.● Development Implementation and maintenance of Identity and Access Management solutions and systems.
