About the Role:
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Processing of suppliers' invoices
- Matching invoices to Purchase Ordering system
- Reconciliation of purchase ledger to suppliers' statements
- Advising budget holders on the correct coding to be used on Purchase Orders/Requisitions
- Checking the VAT treatment on purchase ledger transactions
- Resolve suppliers' queries promptly, accurately and in a professional manner
- Reconciliation of purchase ledger accounts for credit card expenditure and suppliers paid by direct debit
- Processing of employee expense claims
- Setting up new suppliers
- Any other duties as may be required
About You:
You will:
- Be reliable, hardworking and professional with at least one year's experience of working in a fast-paced finance team.
- Be able to build and demonstrate strong working relationships at all levels.
- Have the ability to organise, plan and prioritise time and tasks effectively whilst meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Work well under pressure, dealing with issues as they arise.
- Be open to change, actively seeking ways to improve all aspects of the business.
- Be highly competent using MS Office.
- Be confident working with people at all levels.
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
- AAT level 3 (at least) will be an advantage.
