Software Developer (Java) | 2x a month onsite | Up to 12% Bonus + Car/Allowance

We are looking for a mid-level software developer who is experienced with Java or Jakarta EE / Java EE to join our client’s FTSE 100 business.

You will be part of a growing team delivering industry leading web and mobile applications.

This is a full-stack role but we are interested in hearing from people who have strong experience with Java, particularly Jakarta EE or Spring / Spring Boot. The role will be mostly remote but with some travel, roughly twice a month onsite in Birmingham or Warrington. This opportunity is offering a company car or annual car allowance as well as a generous annual bonus.

Role/Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust applicationsUnderstand business requirements and translate to technical specificationsImplement new features and functionalityCreate and maintain technical documentationContribute to Agile workingEnsure future reliability and scalabilitySkills/Experience:

Minimum 3-4 years experience in software developmentStrong Java serverside experience is essential Experience with any of the following; Jakarta EE / Java EE / Spring / Spring BootHTML / CSSDatabase development e.g. SQLExperience of TypeScript with Angular on the frontend is desirable but not essential Package:
