We have a relatively small IS team dedicated to making a significant impact on our technology organization and landscape. This team collaborates to manage data, software engineering, support and administration, CRM, cloud-based services, and more to support BES Group’s continual growth. 

What will you be doing? 

As a Infrastructure Technology Project Manager at BES Group, you will use your IT Project Management skills and cloud and physical infrastructure systems environment experience to compile and implement plans for new business integration.

You will: 

Manage IT projects, particularly focussed on IT infrastructure of acquired businesses onto the BES Group IT operating model

Prepare detailed IT project plans and manage execution against these

Work with the wider Acquisition Integration project team and IT Integration & End User Compute team.

Follow and contribute to the improvement of our IT Integration Methodology

Solve problems and identify ways forward to ensure that all IT integration and project activities are completed

Work with the Technical Integration Project Manager  to compile and manage the technology plan for delivery and installation of end user devices

Work with the Technical Integration Project Manager to bring new sites onto a standard connectivity and security posture following acquisitions/growth.

Work with the Technical Integration Project Manager to ensure that any migration of O365 tenants and Office 365 estate is well maintained

Work with the Technical Integration Project Manager to ensure that the technical requirements for selected M&As are managed, planned and delivered to requirements.

To join our team, you will need:  

Proven experience in a role as an IT project manager, (ideally using Microsoft technologies)

Experience of being a hands on IT Engineer would be beneficial

Experience of working in a small inhouse IT team or at an MSP supporting multiple clients and IT infrastructures

Experience in full project management for IT Infrastructure projects

Proven experience in IT integration, (planning, delivery, reporting)

Proven experience in On-prem to cloud migrations, planning and implementation for Azure, AWS or Private cloud.

Experience including some of:

Large scale device migrations

IT Transition and Transformation planning

Understanding of hardware inventories/registers (CMDB)

Reconciliation

Strong knowledge and understanding of office 365 administration.

Strong organisational abilities

Able to communicate at all levels

Strong 3rd party supplier management

Understanding of 3rd party contracts

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Willingness and ability to travel nationwide, full clean driving license.
