Job Description:
Manage administrative, logistical and welfare matters of artists, production and season staff in a creative and ambitious organisation.
The Company Manager is responsible for coordinating the management of artists, production and season staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the organisation.
- Experience in creative/arts management, coordination or administrative position
- Experience in tracking expenditure or budget management
- Understanding of existing legislation and best practice in production health and safety
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software
- Interest in live performance and the arts
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the welfare of the performing company, creative teams, children, chaperones and production staff
- Line managing and supporting seasonal stage management teams
- Scheduling and attending production activities, rehearsals, meetings and coaching sessions
- Liaising with internal and external venues
- Attending rehearsals and performances
- Coordinating and supervising petty cash, receipts and order forms
- Assisting with company events and activities
- Tracking and booking ticket requests for creative and production staff
