Demand Planning Manager

Main responsibilities for this Demand Planning Manager role:
- Ensure thorough understanding of business needs to create optimised plans for the production and delivery of advanced products across critical markets.
- Proactively manage capacity planning to avoid constraints and delays, ensuring smooth production flow.
- Work closely with various teams and Project Managers to swiftly develop and execute plans, ensuring projects are managed effectively from inception to completion.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are informed and equipped with the right information to complete their tasks efficiently.
- Align internal operations and supply chain activities with market demands and trends for optimal performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise inventory levels and maintain consistent product availability.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to gather insights on market trends and customer preferences.
- Leverage systems and data to accurately forecast demand and adjust plans as needed.
- Track and analyse key performance indicators related to demand planning, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Regularly review inventory levels, adjusting forecasts based on evolving market conditions.
- Lead initiatives to improve supply chain processes, ensuring timely product delivery.
- Prepare reports and deliver presentations on demand forecasts, market trends, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Experience & Skills required for this Demand Planning Manager role:
- Demonstrated success in high-performance environments, with experience in coaching and managing people.
- While planning experience is helpful, it’s not required—comprehensive training is available.
- Competent in using a range of standard computer systems and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and deliver presentations effectively.
- A proactive, can-do approach with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
