Demand Planning Manager

Main responsibilities for this Demand Planning Manager role:

  1. Ensure thorough understanding of business needs to create optimised plans for the production and delivery of advanced products across critical markets.
  2. Proactively manage capacity planning to avoid constraints and delays, ensuring smooth production flow.
  3. Work closely with various teams and Project Managers to swiftly develop and execute plans, ensuring projects are managed effectively from inception to completion.
  4. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed and equipped with the right information to complete their tasks efficiently.
  5. Align internal operations and supply chain activities with market demands and trends for optimal performance.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to optimise inventory levels and maintain consistent product availability.
  7. Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to gather insights on market trends and customer preferences.
  8. Leverage systems and data to accurately forecast demand and adjust plans as needed.
  9. Track and analyse key performance indicators related to demand planning, recommending improvements where necessary.
  10. Regularly review inventory levels, adjusting forecasts based on evolving market conditions.
  11. Lead initiatives to improve supply chain processes, ensuring timely product delivery.
  12. Prepare reports and deliver presentations on demand forecasts, market trends, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Experience & Skills required for this Demand Planning Manager role:

  1. Demonstrated success in high-performance environments, with experience in coaching and managing people.
  2. While planning experience is helpful, it’s not required—comprehensive training is available.
  3. Competent in using a range of standard computer systems and tools.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and deliver presentations effectively.
  5. A proactive, can-do approach with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
