Job Description:

What will you do as a Ecommerce Trading Manager?

  • Actively trade the online channel, ensuring product availability, content and marketing are optimised to achieve increased online sales.
  • Liaise with the Front-end Development Team to ensure website is updated according to the plans.
  • Liaise with design, creative, photo studio and content team to ensure delivery to the site.
  • Liaise with the Supply Chain teams on key activities, peak periods, ecommerce packaging, returns processing, cancellations and delivery proposition.
  • Liaise with Merchandising teams and retail teams in decision making around fashion finder to ensure cancellations are monitored to below the KPI.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing & CRM Manager around traffic to site to ensure that KPI’s are delivered and ensure all SEO activity is supported.
  • Drive site optimisation in areas such as search, funnel effectiveness etc.
  • Drive the onsite functionality improvements through the IT team.
  • Help shape the Accessorize digital roadmap.
  • Develop personalisation and execute on site.
  • Develop and manage relationship with buying teams and merchandisers to expand range available and maximize availability.
  • Build effective relationships with other functions to operate effectively, such as counterparts in Monsoon, supply chain, finance etc.
  • Support on joint business planning, forecasting as required.
  • Ensure teamwork in an agile manner and implement culture of continuous improvements.
  • Work with the Merchandising teams to ensure robust plans to drive category/trade business plan across the channels are in place.
  • Ensure the ecommerce business has agreed KPIs.
  • Responsible for the on-line customer satisfaction for the Accessorize brand.
  • Liaise with the Customer Services Manager to ensure customer issues and performance.

What will you need to succeed as an Ecommerce Trading Manager?

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a fashion retailer.
  • Google Analytics 4 knowledge or similar.
  • Balance of numerical/analytical skills with an eye for design & creative.
  • Web Platform Experience, with Salesforce experience being advantageous.
  • Strong third-party management experience focused on delivery and implementation.
  • An analytical and data driven mindset.
  • Track record of successful Platform management and Project Delivery.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal with the ability to make good decisions and influence others.
  • A resilience with a natural curiosity.
  • Be customer focused.
  • A problem navigator, solutions driven and determined to ‘get things done’.
  • Someone who is able to articulate a vision and take the team on the journey as well as inspiring internal support as required to meet shared goals.
  • Experience with A/B testing.
  • Team management responsibility of one direct report.
