Job Title: Senior/Principal Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services)

Location: Manchester

My client is currently looking for a Senior or Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their team based in Manchester. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of electrical design projects, ensuring they meet the highest technical standards and are completed on time.
  • Prepare detailed calculations, specifications, and drawings in line with client briefs.
  • Oversee project quality control, ensuring that internal and external standards are consistently achieved.
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team, supporting senior engineers while also mentoring junior and graduate engineers.
  • Contribute technical expertise to new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects in the commercial and mixed-use sectors.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Design or a related field.
  • Experience in electrical design, particularly for commercial and mixed-use projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Services Engineering systems, including their performance and application.
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently, contributing to the success of multi-disciplinary projects.
