AI Consultant Opportunity

Rate: £800-900 per day (Inside IR35)

Duration: 4 months (Extension likely)

Location: 1 day/week onsite in Central London

A leading global retailer is seeking an experienced AI Consultant to provide expert guidance on implementing AI solutions that optimise various business processes, focusing on helpdesk functionality, media planning, creative applications, and audience building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish AI objectives that align with business goals and identify opportunities for AI integration.
• Research and recommend technologies for the rapid prototyping and development of AI/ML features, including semantic search and large language models (LLMs).
• Partner with data engineers to assess existing databases and pipelines for AI/ML suitability.
• Evaluate AI/ML outputs to demonstrate value addition and ensure quality standards are met.
• Ensure compliance of all AI/ML solutions with legal and privacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML.
• Proven track record of managing AI projects from inception to completion.
• Familiarity with GenAI technologies, such as LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience building proofs of concept (POCs) around AI and LLM technologies.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or Java, with experience in ML frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and its AI services.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
