Maintenance Supervisor

Salary: Up to £50,000 per year (depending on experience).

Location: Birmingham

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm (early finish on Fridays).

If you are an experienced Maintenance Supervisor looking to make an impact in a heavy industry environment, and you have a background in managing both traditional and advanced manufacturing machinery, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role: As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of skilled maintenance engineers responsible for maintaining and repairing critical equipment. You’ll oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of modern and classic machinery used in the production of precious metal products, including casting furnaces and CNC machines. Your role will ensure that equipment operates at peak efficiency, minimising downtime and supporting production goals.

You will also be responsible for:

Planning and supervising both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks.

Coordinating with external contractors for specialist services.

Managing the CMMS to allocate tasks and track progress.

Leading RCA and implementing long-term solutions to recurring issues.

Supporting engineering projects and assisting with continuous improvement projects.

Assisting with building and facilities maintenance

What You’ll Need:

Proven experience in a maintenance supervisor or leadership role.

Familiarity with heavy industrial processes such as casting, rolling, annealing, and CNC machinery.

Always willing to go the extra mile, with a ‘no job too big or too small’ mentality
