You will play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for vulnerable children, focusing on quality care and tailored placement matching where each child’s needs truly come first.

Key Responsibilities:•Oversee the daily operations of the children’s home, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards•Lead, support, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional care•Play a vital role in recruiting, onboarding, and developing staff aligned with our core values•Contribute to ongoing staff training and development to foster a high-performing team
Ideal Candidate Requirements:•At least 2 years’ experience in supervising staff and managing teams•2 years within learning difficulties home•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential childcare, ideally in a Deputy Manager role•Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)•Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards it)•Full clean driving license•Strong ability to provide consistent, nurturing support to children with complex needs•Experience with children displaying challenging behaviours•Flexibility to cover shifts when required
