PERMANENT TEACHING ASSISTANT (YEARGROUP TO BE CONFIRMED)

From January, we are seeking toappoint a Teaching Assistant to join the team at Alverthorpe St Paul’s. Ourschool is a special place with adistinctive Christian ethos. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic andcommitted Teaching Assistant.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working in a schoolsetting;
  • Is committed to ensuring children makeexcellent academic and social progress;
  • Has a good understanding of how childrenlearn;
  • Can relate to pupils, including those withSpecial Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • Is able to communicate well with goodinterpersonal skills;
  • Is committed to an inclusive ethos whereevery person matters and is valued
  • Can work well as part of a team;
  • Is supportive of our Christian ethos;
  • Has experience in the teaching of aSystematic Phonics Programme such as Read, Write, Inc
  • Is warm, kind, caring, positive and has asense of humour.
