PERMANENT TEACHING ASSISTANT (YEARGROUP TO BE CONFIRMED)
From January, we are seeking toappoint a Teaching Assistant to join the team at Alverthorpe St Paul’s. Ourschool is a special place with adistinctive Christian ethos. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic andcommitted Teaching Assistant.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working in a schoolsetting;
- Is committed to ensuring children makeexcellent academic and social progress;
- Has a good understanding of how childrenlearn;
- Can relate to pupils, including those withSpecial Educational Needs and Disabilities
- Is able to communicate well with goodinterpersonal skills;
- Is committed to an inclusive ethos whereevery person matters and is valued
- Can work well as part of a team;
- Is supportive of our Christian ethos;
- Has experience in the teaching of aSystematic Phonics Programme such as Read, Write, Inc
- Is warm, kind, caring, positive and has asense of humour.
