About the role:

We are currently seeking two dedicated Support Workers to join our team, working 39 hours per week in a 24-hour supported living accommodation. This is an exciting opportunity to support four adults (2 women and 2 men) with learning and physical disabilities, including visual and hearing impairments. The role involves empowering individuals to live fulfilling and ordinary lives by meeting their daily and sensory needs.

As a Support Worker, you will assist with daily activities, providing person-centred care and support to help people we support build and maintain essential life skills.

Promote independence and empower individuals to participate in activities they enjoy, including music classes, sensory activities and sessions, baking, swimming, going for walks and bus rides and Massage therapy

Create an inclusive, stimulating environment for residents, focusing on their specific sensory needs. Ensure the individuals you support are safe, happy, and treated with dignity and respect.

Hours:

39 hours per week to cover the following shift patterns:

Sleep in shift:3pm-10pm. Day shift: 7am-2pm (sleep in staff). 8am- 3pm, 11am or 1pm start until 7pm.

Location:

Lewisham with free parking. Catford station is close by to the service.

About You:

You will have at least one year of experience in health and social care.
