We’re looking for an Automation and Software Manager to join us at our Business Centre based in Bradford.

Qualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below.nThis is a hybrid role with 2 days a week based in the office.nReporting into the Director of Data and Technology Products t his full-time position involves working closely with an in house group of developers and engineers to develop new products for customers across the Liberty Global group including Virgin Media/O2 and several other converged communications businesses across Europe.nYou will be embedding best practices in development and testing, and driving continuous improvement within the team.nWhat will you be doing?

Collaborate with teams to design, develop, and implement new features and applications for customers within the Liberty Global portfolio of businessesnDrive development best practices and ensure high performance and quality in the codebase.nEngage in proactive problem-solving and quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies.nParticipate in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.nWe tend to look for people with:

Strong knowledge of the .net core framework (8.0), C#, and asp.net Core.nKnowledge of microservices architecture and containerisation, e.g. Docker,nExperience in React, HTML and CSS.nUnderstanding of SQL databases.nKnowledge of version control (GIT) and continuous integration/deployment processesnKnowledge and experience in writing unit and integration tests.nUnderstanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex issues.nEffective communication skills to express ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.nWhat’s in it for you?
