Role and ResponsibilitiesPreparing and painting visual carbon fibre and other surfaces to a high standard, both primed and unprimedPreparing component surfaces using aqua blasters, orbital sanders and manual sanding techniquesFollowing standard operating procedures and visual aids to ensure consistency and qualityMasking components prior to paint application using masking tapes and paperMixing paint by volume and viscosity to approved documentation and specificationsApplying paint by spray techniques to the required PQSMixing paints and lacquers in accordance with technical data sheetsMaintaining and cleaning painting/lacquering equipment
Skills and Experience RequiredProven experience in automotive and/or aerospace paint spraying is highly desirableStrong skills in surface preparation and knowledge of paint application techniquesExperience in mixing paints and lacquers, with a particular advantage for those familiar with matt lacquersAbility to read, understand, and follow instructions, including technical data sheets and visual aidsExceptional attention to detail and precision in all aspects of workEffective team player with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, able to collaborate closely with colleagues and work independently when neededStrong communication skills, with the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback professionallyExcellent timekeeping and reliability, with a consistent attendance recordMaintain a professional, accountable, and proactive attitude at all times
Additional InformationWorking pattern. Monday to Friday, 8am until 4:30pmOvertime. AvailableSalary. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experienceOther. Free on-site parking
